Qualitative - Quantitative - and Mixed Methods Approaches

Question: Discuss about the Qualitative, Quantitative, and Mixed Methods Approaches. Answer: Introduction: The purpose of the paper is to develop an instrument, HiEduQual in order to measure the service quality that is perceived by the students in India. The paper uses the method of research design to test the attitude of students about motivation, satisfaction, and loyalty. The research was conducted in seven universities. Through an extensive and detailed research, the paper has been able to identify the model for HiEduQual. The competing Model M1 proved to be the best model. The limitation of the research lies in the fact that service quality can also be measured through other theories As regards practical implications, it has been suggested that the paper has the possibility to generate more precise application (Fowler 2013). The research section of the paper gives the reader a comprehensive knowledge about the key concepts that the researcher had used. The descriptive research design method was used in the research paper. Such a method of research helps to get a better idea about the perspective of the students. The entire analysis was completed in two stages and tries to validate the usage of the instrument HiEduQual (Rossi et al. 2013). The article talks about the concept of quality in the service sector in India. The given article lays emphasis on service quality in the education sector in India. The article explores the factors that affect the higher education system in India. It also aims to explore the relationship between the service quality, loyalty, and customer satisfaction (Creswell 2013). The study hinges on various definitions of service quality and also focuses on the studies that have been done in the past. The study further measures the motivation of students in higher education service. On reading the introduction, it is quite clear that the paper makes an attempt to develop a model based on existing models on student perceived service quality. The research would present a literature review on the topic (Creswell 2013) References Creswell, J.W., 2013.Qualitative inquiry and research design: Choosing among five approaches. Sage.
